Welcome to my corner of the sports photography world! I'm John Bassett, a dedicated father of two energetic boys, a passionate youth baseball coach, and an avid outdoorsman. Alongside my wonderful wife, Jackie, together we've cultivated a love for photography that has been a cornerstone of our lives.
Our journey with photography began shortly after we tied the knot in 2008. What started as a hobby—capturing the beauty of our travels and the special moments of friends and family—quickly grew into something much more. Encouraged by the enthusiasm of those who saw our work, we decided to take the leap and turn our passion into a professional endeavor.
Today, our focus is on sports photography, where we strive to capture the intensity, excitement, and raw emotion of athletic competition. As youth athletes we have a deep appreciation for these moments in time, We bring a unique perspective to every shot, aiming to freeze those fleeting moments of triumph and determination.

beginnings.
Our journey into sports photography is deeply rooted in my lifelong love for the game. Growing up, Jackie and I both played numerous sports, and those experiences ignited a passion that followed me into coaching youth sports once my own kids arrived. My wife, Jackie, and I have always cherished our shared enthusiasm for baseball, which has led us to explore ballparks across the country with the goal of visiting every major stadium.
Youth sports are where it all begins—the foundation for future athletes and the arena where dreams take shape. Our goal with sports photography is to capture and share these pivotal moments, allowing young players to see themselves as professionals. By documenting their games with powerful imagery, I aim to inspire a deeper passion for the sport and motivate them to hone their skills and strive for greatness.
